Dr. Chris Wilkes joined the Cinim advisory team in 2022 to consult on program content development. Dr. Wilkes is Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychiatry, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary and Consulting Child, Adolescent, Family Psychiatrist & Analyst, Alberta Health Services. Dr. Wilkes is a recognized international specialist in Psychiatry as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Wilkes is also a Founding Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, a graduate of the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts and member of the International Association for Analytic Psychology. Dr. Wilkes' research and publications have been in the area of cognitive behavioral treatment of youth depression, suicide, affective disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotherapy and mental health economics.
